Karma Struts

A rooster struts proudly, protecting his flock and overseeing his domain. The detail of karma’s feet touching the ground evokes the feel of grass and soil and stone beneath our own bare feet, and we realize we are not that different, after all.

Karma was left in a cardboard box at the door of a Wal-Mart in North Carolina as a tiny peep. Happily, a caring employee found a sanctuary, who did not have room to keep Karma, but were kind enough to bring him to us. Karma is a curious, protective warrior and a caring and affectionate family member to our large flock of rescued birds.
